The Downtown Alliance continues to take you inside the kitchens of some of your favorite Lower Manhattan restaurants with “Dine Around Downtown: Cooking At Home,” and the next installment of the live web series is headed to Casa Taqueria.

Hosted by award-winning chef Rocco DiSpirito, the series features chefs from the neighborhood who cook up signature recipes and share tips for crafting everything from complex gastronomic delights to go-to comfort foods. It’s free to sign up and participate, and any donations go to a good cause — either directly to the restaurant’s employee-relief funds or to a food security charity of the restaurant’s choice.

Register now to learn how to make al pastor three ways — burrito, plato and taco —with Casa Taqueria chef Elizabeth Saldana on Thursday, October 15, at 4 p.m.

The series launched earlier this summer with America’s first restaurant Delmonico’s, followed by Gnoccheria, Taïm, Temple Court and Benares. All previous episodes are available on YouTube.
