7th Annual Back-2-School Fair
Description:
The Fair is a fun-filled family occasion during which families and children are provided with free medical screenings and essential school supplies give-a-away to local school children to start off the school year. The event includes food samplings, showcase of local talents, book signings, college admissions/employment recruitment, raffles/prices, and much more.
Headlining this year’s fair are the legendary gospel, jazz, reggae, and funk group, Everton Bailey & the Instrumental Sounds of Praise (ISOP) band, Samantha Carlson & Peter Grant with songs from the Great American Songbook, contemporary and traditional gospel choir Nehemiah Movement, prayer crusaders Go Party On Demand, hip-hop Haitian dancers the Creoles, and modeling by Yolibeth. Moreover, there will be bodybuilding demonstrations performed by award-winning bodybuilder Jean Laguerre. The Bronx-based Full 100 Radio 100.9 FM is set to broadcast live from the premises and a drone will capture aerial shots and stream live at the event as well.
