NOTICE TO BIDDERS
PROTECTION OF POWER PLANT NO. 2 FOR
FREEPORT ELECTRIC POWER PLANTS FOR
THE INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF FREEPORT
ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT
NASSAU COUNTY, NEW YORK
Notice is hereby given that the Purchasing Agent of the Incorporated Village of Freeport, New York will receive sealed proposals for the “PROTECTION OF POWER PLANT NO. 2” until 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, in the Main Conference Room of the Municipal Building, 46 North Ocean Avenue, Freeport, New York 11520, at which time and place they will be opened publicly and read aloud.
Specifications, proposal and proposed contracts may be seen and obtained at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Municipal Building, 1st Floor, 46 North Ocean Avenue, Freeport, New York 11520, or by visiting the Village’s Website at www.freeportny.gov. Bids will be available from 9:00 A.M. on Monday, July 15, 2019, until 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 16, 2019. Mandatory walk through on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Power Plant 2, 289 Buffalo Avenue, Freeport, NY 11520.
The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals received and, subject to these reservations, shall award the contract to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder. Bids which, in the opinion of the Board, are unbalanced shall be rejected.
In submitting a bid, bidders agree not to withdraw their bid within fortyfive (45) days after the date for the opening thereof.
