NOTICE TO BIDDERS
FURNISHING OF ONE (1) NEW LATEST MODEL CAB-OVER REFUSE COLLECTION VEHICLE WITH 6 YD REAR LOADING DUMP BODY FOR
THE INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF FREEPORT
NASSAU COUNTY, NEW YORK
Notice is hereby given that the Purchasing Agent of the Incorporated Village of Freeport, New York will receive sealed proposals for “FURNISHING OF ONE (1) NEW LATEST MODEL CAB-OVER REFUSE COLLECTION VEHICLE WITH 6 YD REAR LOADING DUMP BODY” until 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in the Main Conference Room of the Municipal Building, 46 North Ocean Avenue, Freeport, New York, 11520, at which time and place they will be opened publicly and read aloud.
Specifications and forms of proposal may be seen and obtained at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Municipal Building, 1 st Floor, 46 North Ocean Avenue, Freeport, New York, 11520, or by visiting the Village’s website at www.freeportny.gov . Bids will be available from 9:00 A.M. on Monday, July 15, 2019 until 4:00 P.M. on Friday, July 26, 2019. There is NO charge for a set of contract documents.
The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals received and subject to these reservations, shall award the contract to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder. Bids which in the opinion of the Board, are unbalanced, shall be rejected.
In submitting a bid, bidders agree not to withdraw their bid within fortyfive (45) days after the date for the opening thereof.
