Notice is hereby given that the Purchasing Department of the Incorporated Village of Freeport, New York will receive sealed proposals for “2018 – EMERGENCY BOARD-UPS IN THE INC. VILLAGE OF FREEPORT” until 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 18, 2018, in the Main Conference Room of the Municipal Building, 46 North Ocean Avenue, Freeport, New York, 11520, at which time and place they will be opened publicly and read aloud.
Specifications, proposal and proposed contracts may be seen and obtained at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Municipal Building, 1st Floor, 46 North Ocean Avenue, Freeport, New York, 11520, from 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 until 4:00 P.M. Friday, January 12, 2018.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of $2,500.00 made payable to the Village of Freeport, to assure the entering of the successful bidder into an acceptable contract.
The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals received and subject to these reservations, shall award the contract to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder. Bids, which, in the opinion of the Board, are unbalanced, shall be rejected.
In submitting a bid, bidders agree not to withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the date for the opening thereof.
